Ayate is a fiber woven cloth made from Maguey (agave salminae), a productive fiber that comes from the Valle Del Mazquital ares of central Mexico. Ayate has been known for its durability, natural origins and usefulness to natives for over 400 years, but it is becoming internationally known. Today, Ayate is used as an all-natural, mildew-resistant body exfoliator. Ayate cloths will last up to one year.
