This 99.9% natural shaving cream is suitable for all skin types. It has a delicate, lighty fruity fragrance. Specially formulated using a unique combination of organic ingredients and enhanced by plant extracts, this cream will create a luxurious lather for a smooth, comfortable shave. When used with hot water and, ideally but not necessarily, a good quality shaving brush, even a small amount will produce a thick creamy lather. The combination of brush, hot water and natural ingredients will soften and lift the beard in preparation for the razor blade. All Edwin Jagger shaving creams are made with mostly natural ingredients, many derived from organically cultivated plants, replacing mineral oils and synthetic substances. Wherever possible the natural ingredients are obtained using energy efficient means.

Having already used Edwin Jagger's Sea Buckthorn soap I knew what to expect for scent. I was hoping the scent of the ASB would be a little stronger than that soap and I was not disappointed. The scent was not, however, overpowering in any way, and fades fairly quickly, lasting long enough to enjoy it, but not long enough to interfere with another scent, should you decide to wear one. More importantly, however, is the way that this product performs. It goes on very easily, just a small dab will cover the entire shaven area and leaves the skin feeling smooth, soothed, and moisturized. Unlike a few other aftershave balm products I have tried, it does not seem to leave my face shiny, but rather absorbs quickly and fully. I can highly recommend the Edwin Jagger shave product line!
