The Calendula flower has been in use since the sixteenth century as "a most remarkable healing agent, applied locally." It was introduced into Homeopathic practice in 1838 and it still remains one of the finest soothing agents for minor skin irritations due to chafing, bedsores, windburn, sunburn, chapping from cold air, minor burns, diaper rash, and scalds.
A local application from Calendula Flowers extracted in a bland ointment base. Particularly useful where the product is to be rubbed into the skin.
