Kappus has been around for 100 years...you can go to you tube and see a video about the company, it is in German; but you can see the soap being made, type in the search box "ein unternehmen wird 100" I use this soap for washing my hands and also for showers it will leave your skin soft and smooth and will not dry it out, a wonderful scent and I would recommend it...THANK YOU, Smallflower
