I keep this product handy in case I feel a migraine starting purse, car, work, nightstand. It provides immediate relief by numbing the area don't know how else to describe it and the peppermint scent helps with the nausea that sometimes occurs with the headache or medication. There are several cases where this product helps me out - on its own to treat the more minor version of a headache, as a stop gap to help with the symptoms until my medication kicks in, and the rollerball application helps massage it in - so any area that is tight or tender. The only thing to be careful of is the potential of getting it into your eyes, my headaches are at my temple and I have gotten a little in my eye. It stings but goes away pretty quickly.
