This was recommended by the pharmacist of the Lincoln Village store Chicago, IL I was diagnosed with a a chronic dermatitis of both feet. The dermatologist placed me on a daily steroid. After two years and very little change in the awful condition, I took myself off and went to Mertz Pharmacy in Chicago. I informed the pharmacist of my on-going condition and he recommended this product. I have been using the product and have seen very good results. It is a healing ointment. It did not eradicate the underlying condition, but I can wear shoes without pain and the skin of feet are returning to a 'normal' look. The product is all natural and you either must use the jar within a normal time or keep it in the refrigerator or it will go rancid.
