Oceane Eau de Toilette by

I am a huge fan of Outremer formerly L'Aromarine fragrances. I have been wearing them for about 6 years now. However, this is the only one that I have smelled that I do not like. It is the typical fake ocean scent that is often found in cheap drugstore body washes and hand soaps. It also strikes me as smelling quite masculine, like an aftershave might which might be fine if you are a man, but it is not appealing to me as a female, personally. It smells nothing like the ocean and I LOVE the smell of the ocean/beach; it is plastic-y and chemical-y. With so many other great Outremer fragrances to try, I'd recommend passing this one up.

Snag a full bottle of this at a local thrift store for 2, what a find! I had never heard or seen this fragrance before but all I can say is Vive la France!

Nice, easy scent. It's light, clean, and fresh. It makes me feel like a teenager, in a good way. I wear it in the summer.

The Outremer version of the former l'Aromarine fragrance, Oceane, is unfortunately not the same. It is lacking a main ingredient that gave the fragrance its distinctive scent. That "Ah" moment when you first smell the fragrance is actually missing. I bought two bottles of the Outremer version to replace the l'Aromarine version I just used up recently and it is clear that two versions are not the same. Why change it when it was so good? Did Outremer just purchase the rights to the labeling and name, but not the "recipe" for the fragrance? Very disappointing!

I have been searching for this for so long! So happy to have found a supplier again! This scent is fresh, crisp, and pure salt of the ocean. Best thing after a cold shower in the hot summer. It is light and bright so I keep one in my purse to spritz as a quick pick me up or refresher in the summer heat.

Very cute bottle i've worn this out before i would spritz lightly i may have overdone it once and saturated my shirt. It does smell pleasent and foreign i love it.

Bought this last Spring as a light summer scent, but now wear it everywhere. Refreshing and unusual without being saturatingly heavy.
