"As the receiving manager, I check in every product we sell on Smallflower.com. And since we carry over 13,000 unique products, I have to open up a lot of boxes. And when I say, “a lot of boxes,” I mean, a LOT of boxes. My hands pay a heavy toll dealing with rough cardboard all day. On top of that, our business is based in Chicago, and though I love the Windy City, the wind blows cold and dry. There have been days where I’ve looked down at my poor cracked palms and wondered if they were molting.
