Founded in the late 1800's by George F. Smith, Rosebud Perfume Co. is best known for its original all purpose Rosebud Salve. Developed in his drug store in 1895, Smith's Rosebud Salve gained an instant local popularity that Mr. Smith then transformed into a successful mail order business. Still a family run business to this day, Rosebud Perfume Co. offers a variety of lip balms and all-purpose salves in decorative old world packaging.

This is in my list of top 10 toiletries which includes things like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste. Uses: Lip balm/gloss dry skin sunburn perfume cuticle care hair My top use for this is to take a tiny dab, rub it into my palms, then run my hands just above my hair so that it touches the frizzy hairs but not my scalp. This tames my frizzies better than anything else I've tried, without leaving residue. Smells wonderful and not overpowering.
