Shady Day Inc. was created by mothers frustrated by the mess that is attempting to apply sunscreen to children. In search of a sunscreen application that had to be fast, easy, effective and mess free, Rita and Jen came up with the idea of sunscreen on a wipe.
In 2004, they began working on manufacturing a sunscreen wipe. Also, big fans of the sunscreen stick they created one that they felt included all of the best ingredients. With JenniferĘs husbandĘs advice (he is a dermatologist) they also wanted our products to have a high SPF, effective for protecting children and adults.
