About Soldan:

In 1899, the chemist Dr. Carl Soldan opened a medicinal drugstore in Nuremberg, Germany, where he developed the first recipes for cough drops combining eucalyptus and menthol. Em-eukal cough-drops are still being made today in accordance with the well-proven original recipe of the firm's founder. In addition to cough drops, Soldan also produces malted sweets and energy supplements.
