Ordering

Placing Orders Online
Smallflower is designed to make shopping and purchasing products as easy as possible. If you need help shopping for products, take a look at the Shopping Support area. Once you've found the items you'd like to purchase and have added them to your Shopping Bag, then you can proceed to checkout. Here are the basic steps of the checkout process:

1) Sign In or Register - If you've already been a Smallflower customer or have previously registered, then you can sign in to proceed. If this is your first time purchasing from Smallflower then you should register. Don't worry, it's quick and easy. If you've already registered but have forgotten your password, the Sign In page has a forgotten password form that will help you retrieve your password. If you've already signed in earlier during the shopping process but are being asked to sign in again, please realize that we require you to sign in again in order to protect your personal information. We know signing in again is an inconvenience, but we think your personal information is worth it.

2) Ship To - Let us know where we should ship your order. This might be your home address, your work address, or the address of someone special to whom you're sending a gift. If you've already sent an order to the address before, you should see the address listed in your address book on the left hand side of the page. Just click the "Ship to this Address" button below the appropriate address. If you are adding a new address, be sure to enter a nickname (e.g. Mom's House) because the address will be saved in your address book for easy future ordering.

3) Shipping & Gift Options - Tell us how you'd like the ship this order. You can view the shipping costs and times on our Shipping Support page. Also, let us know if this order is a gift. If you choose yes, then you will be taken to a gift page where you can fill out a free Smallflower gift card. You will also have the option to have your order sent in a Smallflower gift box ($3.50 extra).

4) Payment Info - Let us know how you'd like to pay for the order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. If you've already ordered from us, you should see your available credit card(s) in the left column. If you'd like to use a new card, just enter it in the column on the right. You can choose a nickname for this card to make it easy to use for future purchases. If you'd rather not have your card stored in your account, please go to My Account after you've placed your order and delete the card from your account.

5) Confirm Order - Look over the details of your order one more time. Make sure the shipping and payment information is correct. Verify that you have all of the products that you need. If you need to make changes, hit the Edit button. Once you are ready to place the order, click the button saying Place Order Now. Once your card is authorized, you will be taken to a Thank You page that has a summary of your order.

 
Placing Phone, Fax & Mail Orders
We take orders by phone, fax and mail through our store in Chicago:
Phone: 800.252.0275 (9AM - 6PM CST, Monday - Saturday)
Fax: Use our fax and mail order form to place orders via fax. Fax instructions are on the form.
Mail: Use our
fax and mail order form to place orders via by mail. Fax instructions are on the form.

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover for payments. Please be aware that you must enter the billing address information as it appears on your credit card statement. If this information is not correct, it can delay your order or even prevent you from successfully completing your order.

Sales Tax
Smallflower charges sales tax on all orders shipped to addresses in Illinois. Shipments to all other states will not be charged sales tax.

Billing Questions
Smallflower charges will appear on your statement as coming from either Smallflower.com or Merz Apothecary (which is our parent company and the name of our store in Chicago). We authorize your card for the full amount as soon as you place your order, but we do not actually charge the card until your order is shipped. If you cancel your order or change your order after it has been placed, you might still see your initial authorization pending on your credit card account. This is only an authorization and will not be charged to your account. The authorization will usually be removed within 2 to 3 days.

Order Confirmation
Within a few minutes of placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email giving you the details of your order. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam filter to make sure it is not mistakenly filtered out. You may want to add smallflower.com as an accepted domain in your filtering software.

Canceling & Changing Orders
Once your order is placed, you must
contact us in order to change or cancel your order. Because we strive to process and ship your order as quickly as possible, it is not always possible to make changes or cancel your order. We will always attempt to accomodate any requests, but once the order is packed and sent out for shipping, there is no way to change or cancel that order.

Problems with Checkout
We strive to make your Smallflower ordering experience as easy as possible. If you have difficulty placing your order, please contact us. We will do our best to help you place your order, and if there is a problem we would like to know so we can fix it right away.
