Product Description:

Edwin Jagger's traditional hard shaving soap refills are ideal for use in a shaving soap bowl with a quality shaving brush. Delicately fragrant, the soap when combined with hot water and brush, will whip up a luxurious creamy lather. When applied to the face the lather feels rich and velvety and will soften the beard in preparation for the razor blade.

Aloe Vera is an evergreen perennial plant which grows profusely in maritime sands and rocks in Mediterranean climates. The Arabs were probably the first to process the plant and called it 'desert lily'. Alexander the Great used the gel extract to treat war wounds as it was renowned for its healing abilities. Most ancient civilizations, including the Greeks, Romans, Persians and Indians applied the Aloe Vera extract as 'first aid' for wounds, burns and other skin conditions because of its antiseptic properties. The Aloe Vera extract replenishes and moisturises the skin and restores its natural shine and elasticity.

Very NIce! This is another very good product one of my favorites I use a variety of shave soaps and creams I prefer soaps in fallwinter and creams especially eucalyptus or mentholated Italian jobs in the warmer months For me Edwin Jagger Aloe is a good yearround soap A bit of a musky scent leaves your face feeling great Ix27ve used other Edwin Jagger soaps but donx27t like them as much as their Aloe soap they leave your face drier This soap requires a little work to whip up a lather but not bad at all Use a smaller diameter shaving cup Edwin Jagger soaps are about the same size as those little clear plastic packaged glycerine soaps like Col Conk or Van der Hagen Rattles around very loosely in the Edwin Jagger stainless steel shaving bowl or in their screw lid plastic travel vessel good soap but no fun at all in those vessels I still use the Edwin Jagger travel vessel but I pour it full of remelted glycerine soap such as Van der Hagen Deluxe etc
