A very good soap - lather was thing in my town though. Maybe the water? Spectacular fragrance that lasts a long time This does seem like a high quality soap The one problem I had with it was that it did not lather very well It was thin and required repeated brush strokes far more than many soaps to the same area I used this in Providence RI which has very soft water I have seen this affect soaps For example I got Mitchellx27s wool fat in Canada and couldnx27t use it there the lather was way too thing very hard water But back home in Providence it lathered very well Same brush same user so had to be the water I classify that as a soft water shaving soap This sandalwood by Trumper may be a hard water soap I recommend trying it if you have hard water because the fragrance is wonderful The wooden bowl was quite nice too and i will clearly be using that over and over The price was quite good overall for a high quality soap
