About Meliora Eau de Parfum:
Meliora was a thoroughbred English mare that was honored as the mother of the famous stallion, Herod. The significant top notes express unmistakable raspberries and blackcurrants. The heart notes are fresh rose, lily, and ylang ylang. The strong base artfully combines woods, musk, and vanilla to complete the fragrance.

A luminous sound: Meliora is perfectly in tune. Despite its familiar femme elements, this fragrance feels remarkably fresh and infinitely beautiful: a real pop of youth, Meliora winds round skin in with a gentle softness that’s simultaneously thrilling--think of being tied up in satin.

After the fashion of its namesake, this fragrance evokes the symmetrical, color-saturated imagery we associate with indisputable beauty: Meliora is Herod’s mother, in all of her glorious, genetic enviability. Raspberry and blackberry are photorealistic, elegant bon monts that assuage fragile tempers and supplicate fancy palates--a mare of Meliora’s fine breeding would never accept carrots where berries exist. These sweetarts never grow too sugary, instead retaining the juicy mystery they held while on the vine.

Rose and lily, a cream and crimson twist, slowly wind through the core of this fragrance, like the ribboned plaits Meliora proudly displays in her mane. Rose is clean and spicy while lily radiates a pure white light that seems to deflect any danger or detractor. Ylang ylang is leather tanned to the lightest weight, and stretched into a honeyed gold, a lush texture that rests comfortably atop skin, like Meliora’s polished, perfectly made saddle. Dry, terse woods create the absorbent backdrop necessary to absorb and offset Meliora’s intricate, finely tuned beauty.

Musk and vanilla float below and above Meliora’s long legged frame, faint illustrations of a celestial and animal aspects meeting, personified in one being. Meliora grows more profound overtime, taking on the slightest plummy tonality: yet, no matter how this fragrance ages, it maintains a sort of otherworldly beauty that makes us think of the children of Gods. As in Latin, Meliora is always in pursuit, equine elegance eternally ahead of the pack.

(raspberry, blackberry, rose, lily, ylang ylang, woods, musk, vanilla)
