About Opus 1870 Eau de Toilette:
Warm and vivacious, Opus 1870 is a slightly sweet, refreshing fragrance grounded by sensual woods and enhanced by a flurry of enlivening spice.

Bourbon black pepper melts into yuzu's sharp, tart flesh and draws out its sweetness. Set amidst yuzu's tangy pulp, Bourbon black pepper takes on a floral sweetness as its smolders, wafting up and out of yuzu towards elements that have yet to enjoy its piquant infusion.

Coriander shimmers beneath black pepper's caress, a green, slightly soapy substance that lies in perfect, balance-inducing opposition to the deep, garnet-hued English clove rose. As bewitchingly camphoric as the spice it's named for, this rich rose unfurls to reveal an intensely scented, slightly smoky core, and a reddish auburn, velvety texture.

Cinnamon's softer spice is the outcome of potent pepper and rose's interaction, this canella-like woodsy spice dispersed on great wafts of grey incense, creating tantalizingly transparent core.

Cedarwood solidifies this vaporous center, creating a taut, cashmere-like texture.

Opus 1870 descends from the heavens and falls onto skin in a gentle wave. Australian sandalwood and Ciara wood continue to compress airborne elements, impressing their dry, profound fragrance upon each preceding note. A silken musk unspools, ultimately allowing Opus to anchor on (but not stick to) skin.

Confident, sensual and remarkably inventive, Opus 1870 is ideal for anyone seeking an unusually playful masculine.

Notes: Bourbon black pepper, Yuzu fruit, Coriander, English clove rose, Cinnamon, Incense, Cedar wood, Australian sandalwood, Ciara wood, Musk.

About Penhaligon's:

Fragrance is liquid emotion. It unlocks memories and opens doors; it can stop us in our tracks, lost somewhere for a moment in time. Recollections triggered by a dusting of iris, a whisper of clove, a burst of juicy nectarine, a trail of smoky incense, a creamy lick of vanilla. For more than 135 years, Penhaligon's has understood the emotive power of scent. Their fragrant adventure began in the Edwardian era of decadence and carries into the future as they continually create original scents for the discerning eccentrics of today - true modern dandies and bold women who are proud to go their own way. Today, their scents are still made in England using the finest rare ingredients - from hand squeezed bergamot, to jasmine at twice the price of gold.
