Always place candle on heat resistant surface. Extinguish and allow to cool before touching. Never burn candle for more than two hours at a time. Do not burn entire candle -- discard container amd discontinue use when 1/2" wax remains. Always trim wick to 1/4" and remove any debris before lighting.
