Boy Smells is the creation of David Kien and Matthew Herman, who established the brand in 2014 in the Pico–Union District of Los Angeles, California. David and Matthew started Boy Smells as a scent experiment, pooling their experiences in design and the production worlds of fashion and applying them to a home fragrance collection. Each Boy Smells scent has been developed to have its own unique expression--notes plucked from a personal catalog of olfactory memories, then evolved and expressed in a modern context that defies the gender binary.
The Scent of Old-World Opulence
LATE NIGHT BURN—Rose is mixed with brooding tobacco and fresh apricot. Deep stone fruits, with baroque old-world opulence, exotic traces of burnt spices, and dark woods. The rich intertwining of these scent notes is just as luxurious as the woven Damask fabric for which it is named. Damascan rose mingles with resinous labdanum and cistus, and moody oud to create a scarlet red impression upon smelling.
Dyed coconut and beeswax blend with braided cotton wick, in glossy light crimson tumbler with pink label. This has a softer, more gentle rosy hue compared to its deep dark burgundy counterpart from the previous release.
Comes in embossed matte light crimson carton with pink labels.
Notes: rose, apricot, labdanum, cardamom, oud, cistus, guiac and tobacco
