Yellow tangerine and ginger create a top that is once simultaneously aglow and sparkling, the soft luminescence of fruit inseparable from the pixilated spice of rhizome. Immortelle subtly inserts itself into this already texturally innovative territory and creates a thickly piled velvet sensation. Out of the soft, touchable material of immortelle, Morrocan neroli sprouts (a piquant, eager note that registers as a perfectly pitched soprano). Grasse rose follows shortly thereafter, it's alto a clean, clear, and dynamic contrast to neroli. Vetiver imparts an invisible yet deeply felt layer of spice, that makes this scent pulse, a beacon of radiant, welcoming warmth. Heliotrope thickens and adds a delightful sweetness, like a spoonful of almond-infused honey that is as refreshing as it is soothing.
