A wooded, chypre-like fragrance, Noir Patchouli awakens our senses and cloaks us in a clever, unsolvable sense of mystery. As deep as the color black, in its light absorbing power, this fragrance explains patchouli is a multi-dimensional, infinite note. While black is associated with darkness, its prismatic richness cannot exist without light; therefore, coriander provides the necessary sparkle and luminous spice to offset the smoky density of our star note. Similarly, cardamom adds a floral grace and cooling heat that enlivens the unknown shadows of patchouli. A hidden, unseen, unexplained resurgence of patchouli reasserts itself in the heart of Noir Patchouli. As this dark leaf re-emerges, the sweet embrace of floral notes comes forth to match and offset the color-dense, green-black scent.
