A rich leather, Lonestar Memories is intensely concentrated, yet remarkably layered, with a lasting, soft woody finish. Spicy, green Bourbon geranium blends with the flinty, spiky notes of carrot seed to create the kind of crackling smoke we imagine issues from a this Lonestar’s solitary, evening fire.
Ambergris, with clary sage, recalls the aged creak of his clothes and salty, fuzzy and embraceable animalism of this traveler, who bathes only in the creeks he finds on his way west. A vibrant, smoky leathery illuminates the heart of Lonestar Memories, a rendering of this cowboy’s gear and horse’s saddle, which diffuse their worn, smooth scent in the warmth of the fire.
Birchtar is the sharp smell of the surrounding woods, while cistus and jasmine evokes the more floral textures of open pastures that lie on the other side of the valley in which Lonestar momentarily resides; as the fire dies down and dawn rises, these blooming, sweet smells grow, a phoenix-like bright force issuing out of smoky, charred remnants.
Cedarwood smells like early morning sunshine through the trees, and illustrates the richer, spiced-soil, cool forest sparkle of myrrh, tonka, vetiver and sandalwood, into which our traveller will shortly journey into.
A Tauer-strong testament to the redemptive power of solitary reflections set amidst the fragrant wild. Contemplative and androgynous, Lonestar Memories treks bravely into the unknown, evolving with tantalizing, slow determination on skin.
