Intense musk and spicy rosemary are refreshingly balanced with orange and lavender. Lush, elegant and regal, Numero Uno casts a wide, seductive spell. Brazilian orange is a understated yet lusty note, introducing just enough sweetness to make us salivate. Calabrian bergamot is tart, surging forth with its bubbling citric energy until it is stilled by the cool, matte contours of Chinese eucalyptus. Violet is a dab hand at emanating a cool, collected calm that still seethes with attractive, piquant mystery. Patchouli is the fruity, smoldering foil for ylang ylang's star turn as the core white floral herein. As Commoran ylang ylang's sweet yet tangy insouciance stealthily flows outward from the heart of this fragrance, thyme, litsea cubeba, and Haitian vetiver shape its sensual outpouring into a refined, yet inviting appeal. Moss is a subtle, well-deployed velveteen twist, that is neither stuffy or old hat after the inventive aromatic-floral collaboration it succeeds.
