Plenty Sharp Without Much Irritation

"With an Edwin Jagger DE89 and daily shaving, despite Astra's being assertively on the aggressive side, manages not to be too rough on my face and holds up well after a few handfuls of uses before replacement. Whereas something like Feather's blades are much too aggressive for daily use and Sharks and Wilkinson Swords aren't quite able to hold up after a few shaves, Astra manages to hit a sweet spot. I haven't found better and have been comfortably been using these daily, just make sure to give Astra's some respect since, while not bloodthirsty like Feather, can still give quite a nick if you're careless."

"I have read so much about Astra blades I ordered a pack when I bought a new razor. The blade is sharp and I've gotten a week's worth of shaves. But I gave it four stars because it doesn't quite measure up to the shaves I get with a Wilkinson blade.The Wilkinson just seems a lot smoother and sharper especially on the first pass."
