Plastic head split

"I got one of these and used it for several years, using it monthly. One day I went to use it and saw when I took it out of the drawer that a lenghtwise crack had appeared in the bristle end so the bristles would all come out if I used it. I mailed it back to Smallflower to warn them that this was a defective product but never heard back. I am surprised they are still selling it because it is a rip-off. I use a normal hair comb to clean my brush, now. Vernon Forbes Columbia, MO"
