Great comb but climbs out of my back pocket
"It's nicely made and definitely an effective comb for fine hair. The thing is that it quickly works itself out of my jeans back pocket where it sojourns with a leather wallet and small pocket knife. Here's the back story. For years I've carried the traditional Ace hard rubber comb. Alas, they are no longer what they once were. The teeth in current versions are too sharp and they grab rather than glide through the hair. This started a search for the "perfect" replacement. So far the Kent comb being reviewed gets the highest marks as a comb. It is perfect for fairly long fine hair that easily gets windblown. When making that discreet grooming swipe on dry hair It doesn't build up a static charge while doing a masterful job of corralling hair into at least the same general direction without taking a piece out of your scalp and detangling without acting like a depilatory.. When you have the good fortune to have a bit of water the teeth hold a respectable amount and distribute the dampness evenly. But the little bugger simply won't stay in my back pocket. It works its way out like an indignant ferret. Perhaps the comb could be redesigned to remedy this situation. A bit of rubber on the frame or even some checkering to roughen the back frame would both give a better purchase (this is a small comb) and encourage it to stay put in a back pocket."
