Tried 'em all...always come back to Nivea Mild

"I have literally tried all of the major creams (proraso, TOBS, T&H, D.R., Tabac, Arko, Captains Choice, Cella, Speick and others) but I keep coming back to nivea mild (blue) direct from Europe via small flower. It is truly much gentler and as another reviewer noted it is creamy not foamy. I feel like a lot of the other brands focus on this explosion of foam that doesn't protect as well as this creamy and gentlemanly-scented cream. They have updated the fragrance a lil in the last couple of years. It used to be more unisex, but now it smells in line with many other nivea mens products. Just take a look at the ingredients and you'll see that this cream is built to truly protect and moisturize during a shave. Olive oil, aloe, and some dimethicone are all in there to help protect. My sensitive dry skin loves this stuff. I prep with a warm, steamy face cloth, then hand lather with a synthetic brush and follow my shave with prorasos white balm. I can two pass DE shave with a merkur, or most days I just use my mach 3 and get great results. I found this cream searching for creams void of triethanolamine years ago. Smallflower always has it and their shipping is amazingly fast. I hope you try it and enjoy it. Cheers"
