Just as Expected

"I do a lot of shopping on-line and often am disappointed in the difference between tje product as advertised and the product as received. Not this time. This was my first alum stick, so I watched some videos on the post-shaving use of alum blocks before using. I''ve used this product daily since then, and was very pleasantly surprised. Unlike a traditional alum block, the stick comes with a convenient applicato. The stick is compact, easily glides across a wet face, and is refreshing to use. A quick rinse of my face and all is well. The reasonable price and prompt delivery were added bonuses. The alum stick is not a styptic pencil. Though the stick has antiseptic properties and may seal minor nicks,, you need to use a styptic pencil or other remedy for the larger bleedings. But unlike a styptic pencil, the alum stick does not crumble after use, does not get sodden with blood, and shows little wear after repeated use. And with the cover in place, there is no leaking. Because of my unfamiliarity with other alum products and somewhat limited experience, I have given the stick a four star rating rsther than five. But based on the price and performance, I heartily recommend."
