"Recently purchased a Parker 91R double edge razor, to replace a 91R that got damaged from being dropped by accident. Gentleman at the counter was very knowledgeable of the product line, and showed me every razor in the case. I decided to purchase another 91R, because of the performance of my old 91R. When paired with a Wilkinson Sword blade from Germany, it gives me a smooth comfortable shave. I did notice with new 91R, that the quality, and snug fitment of the blade, was better than my old 91R. The threaded part of the head is stockier than the old 91R, and fits much better. Overall a better iteration than my first razor. I don't have a tough beard, so the Parker 91R is a good choice for me, being not that aggressive, but it could handle a much tougher beard with no problem. I very much enjoy shaving with my Parker 91R, and hope I don't drop this one. . ."

"As one kid does, I started out using a razor from brands like Gillette. I thought this was what everyone does. But in doing so, the cost of the blades were crazy and I wasn't getting the best shave; pimples and irritation would follow shortly after shaving. After going to an apothecary and seeing the Parker 19 safety razor, I'd thought I'd give it a try. The razor its self is more expensive upfront than a Gillette razor, but the blades are next to nothing in price. Along side the affordability, the clean and comfortable shave this blade gives me is astonishing. I truly feel like I've upgraded from a young kid who doesn't know how to shave to an expert barber who will never go back to a nomral razor. The Parker 19 Safety Razor is an excellent razor for anyone who wants to change their shaving game."

"An absolutely excellent razor for the money. Decades ago I began shaving with a standard three piece razor and as time went on shifted to whatever shaving materials were current including the three to five razor cartridge monstrosities. After looking at Smallflowers selection of razors I decided on this one and couldn't be happier. The 91R is a good, solid traditional razor that gives a great shave, and I expect to use it for years to come. It offer a great weight in the hand, and in my opinion shaves closer and better than any disposable on the market today. I only shave two or three times a week I have a beard and moustache so only use this razor for trim and shaping work on sides of the face and throat, but I actually look forward to days I shave. Working with tools like this really does restore a personal pride in grooming. A very worthwhile purchase."
