Pears Soap is dead !

"Since selling out to an Indian manufacturing company this once incomparable once-English-made soap is just a shadow of its former self, bearing absolutely no resemblance to the original article. Within its glassy amber oval shape, it possessed a unique herbal aroma, and a long-lasting formula that produced an economical but rich and gentle lather. It is as bad an example of the ruination of a true English quality product as I can think of. I used original Pears soap all my life, until the formula changed. I am now 79 years old. I would urge Smallflower Co to discontinue stocking this item. There is no way to describe the horrible and greasy cheapness of the current Indian product. It is NOT Pears soap."
