The Original Yardley Made in England

The first tablet of Yardley's Fine Soap was made in 1770. To this day, Yardley London continues to devote as much care and expertise as went into the very first tablet over 200 years ago. Containing moisturizing shea butter, these soaps are triple milled for a rich, creamy lather and delicate scent. English Rose is a refreshing, light floral with sparkling citrus and rose top notes blended with tea accord. Combining a complex floral heart of rose bud, magnolia, violet, and cassis with warm woody notes, it's enhanced with patchouli and musks, adding velvety tones to the base.

Not as good as the fragrance actually is...

"I like & have the whole range of Yardley English Rose products. The soap is not a good example of it. There's some rose scent, but I also smell an unidentifiable ingredient, maybe unique to bar soap, that just isn't that good. If you are curious about this scent, I'd recommend starting with the body spray-you'll spend less and get a much better representation of what this scent is like. I've tried another brands 'rose' scented soap and had a similar issue-I suspect it's just the ingredients in the soap........together with the scent do not make the most appealing combination....."
