Equinox Botanicals

Equinox began with an herbal salve made with farm grown plants to soothe the day-to-day wounds inflicted by fences, critters, and the rugged Appalachian terrain. Today many of their plant-based remedies are still hand made in small batches on their farm in what’s known as “Appalachias herb basket” in Southeast Ohio. The Equinox farm is home to the largest wild populations of goldenseal, blue and black cohosh, wild ginger, and ramps in the United States as well as vast stands of ginseng, bloodroot, and countless other native medicinal herbs.
