Because of the dry, itchy, irritable skin her husband inherited, chemist Shannon was determined to find a soap that wouldn't irritate his sensitive skin but found that many “soaps” weren't actually soap at all--many were “body bars” or “deodorant bars” that use synthetic cleansers to clean your skin.
