It contains hydroxyapatite (BioHAP) – a substance which is found in human tooth enamel. This active ingredient in Bioniq® Repair-Toothpaste helps to protect teeth from wear and keeps teeth and gums healthy.
During brushing, microscopic defects on teeth are remineralized, repairing the enamel. With daily use, your teeth not only feel smoother, but they also stay cleaner for longer periods, as the bacteria present in all healthy oral microbiomes remain on the surface of the teeth for a significantly shorter period. This reduces the formation of plaque and tartar and prevents decay. At the same time, the sensitivity of teeth that react with pain to cold and heat and to sweet and sour foods is reduced.
