Herb Pharm prepares their Oat Seed Extract from the fresh (undried) seed of Avena Sativa, which is certified organically grown on their own farm without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. To assure optimal extraction of Oat's bioactive compounds, the seeds are hand-harvested only in their semi-mature (milky) stage and are then taken directly to their labratory and promptly extracted while still fresh and succulent. The Oat seed is never fumigated or irradiated.
All of Herb Pharm's Liquid Herbal Extracts are prepared according to precise Good Manufacturing Practices and with individualized formulations or processes, which enable each herb to be extracted according to its own unique physical and biochemical characteristics. This attention to detail produces a finished extract, which optimally represents the herb from which it was made.
