About Fou d'Absinthe Eau de Toilette:An embodiment of freedom of mind, Fou d'Absinthe is a cool, soft, spicy study in contrasts. Luminous and relatively lightweight, Fou d'Absinthe is an invocation of the ?flying high' sensation its namesake evokes. The infamous sensations of the Green Fairy are evoked with calm control and imagination by master perfumer Olivia Giacobetti. A cutting-edge structure, Fou d'Absinthe starts out ice-cold. Star anise is tangy, bittersweet and slightly sepia in its tone. Absinthe's viscous verdancy flows quietly into the dusty powdery sugars of angelica. Set atop this strangely gourmand couple, star anise warms, creating a tingling sensation that we're sure will lead to heady intoxication. Suddenly, we find ourselves relocated in a forest of balsams, pine needles, and patchouli. Patchouli evokes the essence of Pyrenean forests, its dulcet sweetness tinged with the subtle menace of unpredictability. A fragrance that packs a taboo busting madness into a dreamily featherlight whole, Fou d'Absinthe is a dualistic wonder. The key to its high, cool harmony is the constant contrast of hot (spice) and cold (herbal). The blaze and chill of this scent scintillates while it relaxes. Close your eyes and drift away with a dose of this extraordinarily consequence-free magic.Notes: Star anise, Patchouli, Clove, Pine needles.
