A regal update of the beachy vibes of Aqua Universalis, Forte retains the gleaming structure of the original, but is enriched by potent, romantic florals that make us imagine an evening after the beach. The citric opening of this edition is sinuous and subtle, a refreshing route that leads to the blooming heart of this fragrance. The familiar white florals are present herein; lily-of-the-valley is a clean, statuesque structure while mock orange is a touchable, sweet substance. Off the sand, these blooms are reminiscent of a nourishing toilette routine, whereas Moroccan rose and jasmine are evening appropriate. Moroccan rose is bittersweet, a magnificent, ruby-hued bloom that unfurls on skin with languid grace. While rose is dense and complex, jasmine is earthy, freeform and slightly unctuous.
