"Opted to try this as I have been seeking more options that use Tonka. The blend with Vetiver makes this decidedly masculine - which is a plus. Used as a base, and then layered with more top note citrus (eau du cologne; 4711 Remix) really brings this one to life. I plan to try this in concert with another woody / spicier / amber cologne/parfum (Guerlain Ouds or Valentino) to see how that changes things up. Regardless, this is one to add to your routine. While it can stand alone, the options with layering really are pretty endless here. A little goes a long way and it's a really nice building block for people who can pull off layering."
