Missed the mark
"I'll keep trying with this cologne, but the proof is in the usage I'm afraid. This $70 splurge sits on my dresser. First impression is "soapy", which I guess is a complement to a luxury soap making brand. The dry down is unremarkable. Not getting any of the mentioned scent profiles. I have to use a lot of it just to notice it, which is sad when so many of my $10 aftershaves project well and last all day. Had high hopes for Mistral, but Salted Gin appears to not be a cologne for me. Kind of was hoping for salt, ocean, dried herbs, maybe some citrus. bummer. Packaging is good."
