"Well, the history is one thing - let’s just put that aside. As a fragrance this is just perfect. It’s not the strongest, or beast mode as the current gen wants fragrances to be, and yes, it will not last a day. Yet, that is not what Farina aims to be. It’s sophisticated and refined, and yet gentle and easy. Let me explain - it’s what you should wear at a luxury resort and get silent nods from those who KNOW, and you can also wear it as your home scent on a daily basis. I’ve worn Farina to high end resorts and found that perfumes like the vaunted LV range or PDM Greenley/Sedley or the Creed mega hits aren’t what people wear - it’s Roger & Gallet Farina/Vetyver, 4711, Claus Porto, Alvarez Gomez and the likes. At home my daughter finds comfort in Farina and calls it her ‘daddy’ smell - it’s clean, calming and comforting. If you aren’t owning it, you’re missing something special in life, and yes, the history is cool as well."
