A Natural Philanthropist

Agrimony is known by many names: Church Steeples for its impressively tall yellow, spire-like blooms, Cocklebur and Sticklewort for its prolific and gnarly burrs that stick to animal fur and clothing. Oddly enough, this tendency to attach burrs to passersby to transport its seeds to a neighboring garden was seen as an act of generosity and won Agrimony the name of Philanthropos, too. The name fits. Agrimony is widely recognized as a gentle, adaptable herb that does so much for so many! This versatile, fragrant herb can be infused for a tea with a mild, herbaceous flavor.

For many centuries, people from all over the globe have found fresh herbs to be a gentle yet effective health-enhancing blessing. These are our own hand packed loose herbs, packaged in old world apothecary style, air tight brown paper canisters to keep light and moisture out, and freshness in. Use in teas, tinctures, and elixirs.
