The scent of Cedarwood Atlas can be described as being warm, sweet, and tenacious, with a balsamic aroma. The Oil is a yellowish to orange-yellow or deep amber-colored. It is steam distilled from the wood, stumps, wood chips or sawdust of the tree. Cedarwood Essential Oil Atlas blends well with the following: Bergamot Essential Oil, Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil, Cypress Essential Oil, Olibanum Essential Oil (Frankincense), Jasmine Absolute, Juniper Berry Essential Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, Lemon Essential Oil, Neroli Essential Oil, Patchouli Essential Oil, Rose Otto Essential Oil Bulgarian, Orange Essential Oil Sweet, Sandalwood Essential Oil East Indian, Rosemary Essential Oil Moroccan, Ylang Ylang Essential Oil Extra, Vetiver Essential Oil. Properties: anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, insecticide, sedative. Please note: Some essential oils, such as Aniseed, Cedarwood and Peppermint Arvensis will solidify in the cold. This is normal, they will melt and dissolve if gently warmed.
