Vanilla Seduction

Vanilla is seduction for Fran?ois H?nin. Immediately recognizable, it is an invitation to devour, a multi-dimensional incarnation of this famous note. A dark texture, like the black pearls that populate self same beans, this vanilla resembles the bittersweet, translucent, slightly herbal browns and blacks of maple syrup. Just when we think we've identified this particular vanilla, it transitions into a lightweight, cloudy substance, a creamy effect that brings to mind the traditional color spectrum associated with vanilla flavor; cream, beige and gold. As things begin to teeter on the brink of gourmandism, jasmine evokes a rich soil, literally grounding this lofty fragrance. There's nothing indolic about this jasmine, but it sports a fruity vivacity which teeters lusciously on the verge of becoming over ripe.
